The K R A A K T A F E L is a sensory experience created and curated by [kraak]. It celebrates all our senses while being vulnerable in nature. The K R A A K T A F E L speaks to a specific guest. Someone who is open for an experience and looking for something more than an evening of fine dining. At the same time, it is also for the person who is not looking for entertainment but who wants to experience a slow evening of conversation and reflection.
The number [5] symbolizes freedom, curiosity and change, which can be interpreted as having the desire to have adventures and explore new possibilities. We therefore invite you to the K R A A K T A F E L with an open mind to experience something new and a little bit unexpected.

The seats are sold at R4,250.00 per person and includes the following:
- Shuttles from a communicated pick up point to and from the table. Should you require additional transport from your location to the pick up point and back, please contact koncierge@kraak.co.za for assistance
- A curated experience in a remote location where there are no permanent infrastructure or resources. Therefore, keep in mind that the price per person is not only for the menu but for the whole experience. Each element at the location is carefully sourced and brought in for your comfort
- A 4-course dining experiences paired with hand selected wines
- Water will be on offer for the duration of the event
More you should know:
- The K R A A K T A F E L starts at 17h30 and ends at 22h30, with the first shuttle to depart at 22h30 back to the pick-up point
- The closest town will be shared once the dates are released so that you can make the necessary travel arrangements
- Each event has a dress code which will also be shared once the dates are released
- The parking address will be shared one week prior to the event
- Your ticket price includes the experience, water, wines and dinner. We do not offer any other drinks at our event. We will, of course, have non-alcoholic option available
- Tickets are non-refundable and cannot be moved to another event date
- Even though the menu is designed to be a sensory experience, we will accommodate allergies at our event. This must be communicated when booking your seat. As this event is in a remote location, we purely work on the requirements communicated prior to the event. We can, unfortunately, not cater for any dietary requirements on the evening of the event without prior notice
- There will be allocated seating. Group bookings are welcome, as long as you communicate well in advance who you want to be seated with
- Should Mother Nature bless us with an abundance of one of her elements, we will make you as comfortable as possible but please keep an eye on the weather prior to the event to come prepared. Should one of the elements be out of control, we have the right to cancel the event and will reimburse you in full. We will not be held liable for any travel costs that will be affected by the, potentially, cancelled event
- When buying a ticket, you confirm to adhere to the terms and conditions of the K R A A K T A F E L where we cannot be held responsible for any damages, loss, incident, accident, death or any form of complication prior, during or after the event
