Corne & Francois

The Dairy Shed - Featured on The Pretty Blog

One of our favourite weddings so far! When we had to choose a few photos for this post we could not stick to only A FEW…  so enjoy this ALBUM we put together for you!

With Corne being in the wedding industry herself, she has seen thousands of weddings and I knew that we needed to bring something totally different to the table.  Greece was the inspiration we had to work with.  Together with Corne we brainstormed till we got the perfect concept for their wedding.  We decided to go with a Mediterranean feast.  Combining a street party with elegance sure was a challenge!  The attention to detail to this wedding kept us on our toes and every aspect was thought through again and again!  I knew that there had to be massive crystal chandeliers right in the middle of the lawn out of nowhere to bring the surprise element and elegance to the event.

Of course our good friends from Something Different knew how to accommodate us and had a structure built to have this centre piece displayed in the middle of the lawn under the stars.  The ceremony took place inside a gorgeous venue called The Dairy Shed.  We went all out with lighting in there and added some greenery touches.  The outside area was kept a surprise till the ceremony was done.  After the ceremony the big barn’s doors were opened and the guests were wowed with live music and a Mediterranean feast vibe as they have never seen before!  The vibe immediately came to life when the guests started to make themselves at home in the lounge areas while Malita Joubert Catering was serving the most amazing bread table to fit our theme.  The weather played along very well and the evening turned out to be magical!

Corne and Francois looked like two cover models and Angelique Smith captured them and the whole day to absolute perfection.  The photos tells the exact story…  Corne and Francois became dear friends and we are looking forward to creating more special memories at The Dairy Shed!
